Open Radiologist Positions

Neuroradiology

MCR is searching for a neuroradiologist interested in working in an advanced, multi-disciplinary neurology and neurosurgical program. The position will encompass the full range of neuroimaging in both the hospital and outpatient settings and include the opportunity to participate in multidisciplinary conferences and tumor boards as the imaging specialist. Angiography and higher-level procedural skills are not required. No mammography is required unless capable and interested. Limited evening/night shifts as these are generally covered by a combination of residents and an internal pool of overnight radiologists. Opportunity for clinical research and teaching through the affiliated radiology residency program.

Body Imaging

MCR is searching for talented body imagers to help service advanced urology, GI, thoracic, and vascular service lines, as well as a very busy multi-disciplinary oncology program. The position will encompass the full range of diagnostic imaging in both the hospital and outpatient settings and include the opportunity to participate in multidisciplinary conferences and tumor boards as the imaging specialist. Angiography and higher-level procedural skills are not required. No mammography is required unless capable and interested. Limited evening/night shifts as these are generally covered by a combination of residents and an internal pool of overnight radiologists. Breast Imaging

MCR staffs many of the largest and most advanced breast centers in the Coastal Virginia area, including those for Sentara Health System and Bon Secours Health System. MCR has the largest breast section in Eastern Virginia, with ten fellowship-trained breast imagers currently providing service. We are searching for new breast imagers due to continued volume growth and the desire to maintain a work-life balance. Teaching opportunities through Eastern Virginia Medical School Radiology residency program with 16 residents. Full-time, part-time, employed, and partnership track options are available.

Interventional Radiology

MCR is seeking a fellowship-trained Interventional Radiologist due to the continued growth and expansion of the practice. Join our 7 fellowship-trained IRs, one Neuro-IR, and 9 dedicated IR PAs in a robust clinical IR practice. We provide all aspects of interventional radiology out of large, dedicated, and cutting-edge departments, with a particular emphasis on all aspects of interventional oncology. The candidate will join our dedicated interventional radiology longitudinal clinics located on 3 separate hospital campuses. IR call is shared equally. The IRs practice approximately 90% interventional radiology, with additional basic general diagnostic radiology performed to help support the practice. MCR is a hybrid academic-private practice that manages the radiology residency program for Eastern Virginia Medical School, and currently supports early specialization in interventional radiology opportunities. Experienced IRs and current fellows are encouraged to apply.

Remote – Teleradiologist

Due to recent expansion, MCR is actively recruiting experienced radiologists interested in employed, full-time remote/teleradiology positions. All options will be considered from days/afternoon/nights, Monday-Friday 42 weeks/year to 7 on – 7 off schedules. All full-time employed radiologists receive the full benefits. Various flexible less than full-time options may be considered, ranging from weekday only weekend only, afterhours, any combination of the above, as well as part time and prn / pay-per-click models.
