Chris Dobzyniak, MD

Born and raised in Michigan, Dr. Dobzyniak received a bachelors of science from the University of Michigan. He then earned his doctor of medicine degree from Eastern Virginia Medical School. Following graduation he returned to Michigan to complete a diagnostic radiology residency at William Beaumont Hospital where he served as chief resident. Dr. Dobzyniak then completed an interventional radiology fellowship at William Beaumont Hospital prior to joining Medical Center Radiologists in 2010. Dr. Dobzyniak holds board certifications in both diagnostic and interventional radiology, has served as the chief of the interventional radiology division since 2015, and as the medical director of interventional radiology for Sentara Norfolk General Hospital since 2018. Additionally, he has an appointment as an assistant professor of radiology at Eastern Virginia Medical School. He currently lives in Virginia Beach with his family.

Dr. Dobzyniak has a specific interest in Interventional Oncology, including all forms of minimally invasive treatments of kidney cancer and primary and metastatic liver cancers. He was instrumental in bringing microwave ablation technology for cancers to Hampton roads. He specializes in treatment of uterine fibroids, pelvic congestion, and varicoceles.
