Swachchhanda Songmen, MD Body Radiologist
Dr. Songmen is a fellowship-trained body radiologist. He enjoys teaching and learning from the new generation of radiology trainees and has been awarded best teacher awards during his residency and fellowship. He chose MCR due to the perfect blend of quality imaging services and radiology education opportunities.
Dr. Songmen is interested in working with radiology staff to troubleshoot technical issues to obtain optimal quality images for the best possible patient care. He is also highly interested in MRI safety and is a board-certified MR Medical Director (MRMD by ABMRS). He is also deeply interested in learning the tips and tricks of the radiology software and is a firm believer in “Kaizen”- continuous improvement for high-quality patient care.
Dr. Songmen enjoys his free time with his family (wife and son). He enjoys hiking and watching soccer. He endeavors to be a good swimmer and a skillful guitarist.
